Daniel Peter
Petersen’s practice involves drawing, painting, printing, video, photography,
sculpture and installation.
Petersen’s work is
a display of obsession, documentation, collection and repetition.
Through humorous
and confusing text, appropriated film, an appreciation of superficial and
vacuous aesthetics, perfected automation, infinite collections and a level of
satisfaction in ultimate pointlessness, Petersen narrowly evades crisis whilst
constantly questioning what it is that should or could be valued.
